Equipment Overview
Vicat softening temperature refers to the temperature at which a flat-ended needle with a 1 mm² circular cross-section penetrates a thermoplastic test specimen to a depth of 1 mm under specified vertical load conditions, with testing conducted at selected uniform temperature rise rates.
This testing machine features PC-based control with deformation measured by digital micrometers. It supports real-time curve plotting, secondary data processing directly on the PC, and test data export to OFFICE software for editing. The sample frame includes automatic lifting and lowering functionality.
